Solution:

Equation 1: S+N = 150

Equation 2: 5S + 8N = 930

5(150-N) + 8N = 930

750 - 5N + 8N = 930

750+3N = 930

3N = 930-750

3N = 180

N = 60

Non students = 60

S = 150-N = 150-60 = 90
