we know that the tangents from an external point to the circle are equal

i.e AB=AC , PB =PD and CQ = QD

perimeter of APQ  = AP +PQ+AQ

perimeter of APQ  = (AB-BP) +(PD-DQ) +(AC-QC)

perimeter of APQ  = (AB-BP) + (BP+QC) + (AB-QC)

perimeter of APQ  = 2AB = 10 cm

therefore , The perimeter of a  triangular garden is 10 m
