For a standing wave mode on a string fixed at both ends, adjacent antinodes are separated by a distance of 20 cm.

Frequency = velocity / wavelength.

But the wavelength is in metres so you change 25cm to m which becomes 0.25m

The equation, f = 30/0.25

f= 120 Hz and ans/2

Then f = 60Hz

Or

Frequency, f = velocity, v / wavelength, λ

The velocity is m/s while wavelength is in meters

Distance between consecutive antinodes is one-half of λ

Substituting values; frequency = 30 m/s / 0.50 m

frequency = 60 hertz.
