U are in Fiitjee .

The answer is 1/root2.

cos a=1/2,cos b=1/2,cos c=?

we know that

cos^2 a+cos^2 b+cos^2c=1

(1/2)^2+(1/2)^2+cos^2 c=1

cos^2 c=2/4=1/2

cos c=1/root2.
