where we should start to no. the carbon atoms? as it have both- the double bond and a functional group.... see the pic... ☜☆☞

According to the no of hydrogen atoms attached to it

bharatishita2: but both sides have same no. of atoms

bharatishita2: just on have a functional group

bharatishita2: and other side have double bond

Maxcaulfield: That's not possible. Either it's an alcohol or an alkene, it cannot be both
