Given

a1= 3/2 a2= 1/2 a3= -1/2 , a4= -3/2

d= a2-a1 = 1/2 - 3/2 = 1-2/2 = -1/2

d2= a3- a2 = -1/2 - 1/2 = -1 -1 /2= - 1/2

d3= a4-a3= -3/2 - (-1/2)= -3/2 + 1/2= -3 +2 / 2= -1/2

So, d=d2=d3

Hence , a= 3/2 and comman difference d= -1/2
