for an AP, if d = 10, then find value of t9 - t4​

Answer:

Lets consider an A.P. whose common difference is 10.

5, 15, 25, 35 ,................. upto n terms

Here,

a= 5 and d =10

Now,

tn = a + ( n-1) d ........ ( By formula)

So,

t9= 5+ ( 9-1 ) 10 = 5+ 80 = 85

t4 = 5 + (4-1) 10 = 5+30 = 35

Hence , t9 -t4 = 85-35 =50
