for an experiment, the temperature of a liquid must stay above 60F. The starting temperature is 90F. It is placed in a cooler which lowers its temperature 3F every minute.
which statement describes how many minutes the liquid can stay in the cooler?
A. the liquid must be in the cooler fewer than 10 minutes.
B. the liquid must be in the cooler fewer than 15 minutes.
C. the liquid must be in the cooler fewer than 30 minutes.
D. the liquid must be in the cooler fewer than 1 hour.

Hello everyone. This is a rather easy question, so here are the results. It starts at 90 degrees and must stay above 60. Starting at the top (answer, to see if it is right), 10 minutes, times 3 degrees per minute. U get 30 degrees. 90-30= 60, and it has to be ABOVE 60, so it must be in the cooler for FEWER THAN 10 MINUTES. and the answer is A to all the confused people out there.
