Perimeter = b + a +a = b+2a
As perimeter of the isosceles triangle is the sum of all sides.

heya buddy here iz your amswer

triangles are of 3 types and in that isosceles is a type here we need to have 2 equal sides from the same vertex and 1 non equal side

perimeter means nothing but the length of the boundary of the given figure

we can say perimeter of square = s + s + s + s =4s
and perimeter of rectangle = 2 (l + b) => l + l + b + b

similarly we have perimeter of an isosceles triangle too

and perimeter is 2s + b

where s is side and b is base

we have 2 equal sides, so we wrote 2s
and one base b

i hope it helps uh !!!!
