For any integer x , (-1) x (x) equal to -x

Diametre of earth's orbit = 3 × 10¹¹ m

Radius = diametre/2

= (3 x 10¹¹)/2

= 1.5 × 10¹¹ m

∅ = 1"

We know,

3600" = 1°

And 180° = π rad

1° = π/180 rad

1" = π/(180× 3600 ) rad = 4.8457× 10^-6 rad

∅ = r/d

Where d is the distance between sun and earth .

4.8457 × 10^-6 = 1.5 × 10¹¹ /d

d = 1.5 × 10¹¹/4.8457× 10^-6

= 3.09552 × 10^16 m{ 1 parsec }
