Pythagores theorem:
ABC is a right angled triangle
angleB =90
to prove;
AC^2=AB^2+BC^2
triangle ADB is similar to triangleABC
AD/AB=DB/ BC=AB/AC
AD/AB=AB/AC
AB^2=AD×AC. ---1
triangle BDC is similar to triangle ABC
BD/AB=DC/BC =BC/AC
DC/BC=BC/AC
BC^2=AC×DC. ----2
1+2= AB^2+BC^2=AD×AC+AC×DC
AB^2+BC^2=AC(AD+DC)
AB^2+BC^2= AC(AC)
AB^2+BC^2=AC^2
