linear eq would be as follows:
let the no. of pens =x
let the total cost = y
cost of 1 pen = 16 rs
:. linear eq in two variable-->
16x=y

You can make the graph by letting the value of x ,for eg.
1) let x=1
16*1=16=y
x=1,y=16
2)let x= -1
16*(-1)=-16=y
x=-1,y=-16
3) let x=0
16*0=0=y
x=0,y=0
now plot the graph for these points

(and the cost of 6 pens would be 6*16=96 but you have to obtain this from graph you make)
