Let the distance be = x
Let the fare be = y

Fare for first km = 10
Fare for rest of the km = 4

total fare = 10 + 4(x-1)
[ x-1 is because fare for first km is already taken as 10]

y= 10 + 4x -4
y= 6 + 4x
