x=2 y=6

From above 1 mole of C2H6 require (2+6/4)mole of O2

30 gms of ethane give (2+3/2) mole of CO2

30 gms of ethane give 3.5 mole of O2

3gms give 0.35 mole of O2

1mole of O2 at STP require 22.4 ml

0.35 Mole gives 7.84 ml

CO2

1 mole of ethane give 2 moles of CO2

3gms of ethane give 0.2 moles of CO2

1 mole give 22.4ml

0.2 moles give 4.48 ml
