Question:-

For each of the parallelogram Given in above used , find the unknown x,y and z , which ever is involved.

Answer:-

Given:

▪A parallelogram MUGS

▪Length of MU = 26

▪Length of MS = y - 2

▪Length of SG = 5x + 1

▪Length of GU = 8

To Find:

Value of x and y

Solution:

As we know;

Opposite side of a parallelogram are equal

Hence;

MU = SG

= 26 = 5x + 1

= 26 - 1 = 5x

= x = 25 ÷ 5

Hence,Value of x is 5.

MS = GU

= y - 2 = 8

= y = 8 + 2

Hence, the value of y is 10.

Property used:

Opposite side of a parallelogram are equal.
