y=2x-1,

3x-27=7

1st case

y=2x-1,     ( x= -5, y= -11 )

y=2x(-5)-2

y= - 10 -1

y = -11

therefore,

( x= -5, y= -11 ) is solution. rest values are not the solutions.

to check them, put the values of x and y in second equation one by one. If LHS is equal to RHS, the values of x and y are solutions unless otherwise no.
