For every 14 litres of petrol a car can run for 70 km.
How much petrol do you need (to 1 DP) to ensure the car has enough petrol of a trip that is 126 km?​

14 litres = 70km

1 litre = 5km ( 1 litres = 70 ÷ 14 = 5km )

? = 126km

? = 126 ÷5 = 25.2

25.2 litres = 126km

The car will need 25.2 litres of petrol for a trip of 126km

So, in 1 litre it covers 5 km ...
