we can find it by replacing x with each of the following

f (3)=|3|-2 = 3-2 =1

f (93) =|93|-2 =93-2 =91

f (-100)=|-100|-2 =100-2=98

when f(3)

x-2=3-2

=1

when f(93)

x-2=93-2

=91

when f(-100)

x-2=-100-2

-102
