For flower colour in peas the alleles for purple flower (P) is dominant the allele for white flower (P). A purple flower plant therefore, could have genotype PP or Pp. What genetic cross would you make to determine genotype of a purple flowered plant? Explain how your cross give you correct genotype of the purple flowered plant?

Answer:

correct will be gain when when offspring of dominate and dwarf plant breed will be crosed because when we cross dominant and dwarf plant than we only gets a breed of dominant plant so when we cross a dominant plant breed we gain both breed of dwarf and dominant and after than we calculate correct ratio of plants
