The above given question is from the poem 'Fire and Ice' by Robert Frost.
In the poem, Fire stands for - Greed , Avarice, Cruelty, Lust, Conflict, Fury, Intolerance.
Ice stands for - Rigidity, Insensitivity, Coldness, Indifference, Hatred.
Fire basically means anything with untamed desire, wild passion, furious.
Ice on the contrary means something numb, with no warmth in it.
