A + B + C = 180 degrees

implies A = 180 – ( B + C )

cos A = cos B cos C

b)

cos (180 – B – C) = cos B cos C

– cos ( B + C ) = cos B cos C

– cos B cos C + sin B sin C = cos B cos C

2 cos B cos C = sin B sin C

Hence      tan B tan C = 2

a)
tanB+tanC=sinB/cosB+sinC/cosC

=(sinBcosC+sinCcosB)/cosBcosC

=sin(B+C)/cosA (cosA=cosB cosC)

=sin(180-B-C)/cosA

=sinA/cosA

=tanA

hope this helps you

Answer:

=tanA

Step-by-step explanation:

A + B + C = 180 degrees

implies A = 180 – ( B + C )

cos A = cos B cos C

A)  tanB+tanC=sinB/cosB+sinC/cosC

=(sinBcosC+sinCcosB)/cosBcosC

=sin(B+C)/cosA (cosA=cosB cosC)

=sin(180-B-C)/cosA

=sinA/cosA

=tanA

B)   cos (180 – B – C) = cos B cos C

– cos ( B + C ) = cos B cos C

– cos B cos C + sin B sin C = cos B cos C

2 cos B cos C = sin B sin C

Hence   tan B tan C = 2
