If in series connection- add all the resistances:

R1+R2+R3=Equivalent Resistance

4+2+1=7Ω(equivalent resistance)

Voltage : I * R (according to ohm's law)

5 * 7 = 35V

If in parallel connection:

1/R = 1/R1 + 1/R2 + 1/R3

= 1/4 + 1/2 + 1/1

= 1 + 2 + 4/4

=7/4Ω

therefore 1/ R= 7/4

R = 4/7Ω

Voltage:  I * R (according to ohm's law)
