Given, P = Rs. 9600

T = 2 1/2 years = 5/2 years

r = 9 % /annum

we know, S.I = P × r × T/100

S.I = 9600 × 9 × 5/2/100

S.I = 48 × 45 = 2160

hence, interest = Rs. 2160

Rs. (2160 + 9600) = Rs. 11,760 she would pay back at the end of term.

Given,

Principal (P)= ₹ 9600

Time (T) = 2 ½ years = 5/2 years

Rate of interest(R )= 9%

Interest on ₹ 100 for 1 year = ₹ 9

Interest on ₹ 9600 for 5/2 years (S.I)= P×R×T/100

[Simple Interest (S.I) = (P×R×T) /100]

S.I = 9600 × 9 × 5/2/100

S.I = 48 × 45

S.I = ₹ 2160

AMOUNT = PRINCIPAL +SIMPLE INTEREST

Amount = 9600 + 2160 = ₹ 11,760

Hence, Trusha would pay back ₹ 11,760 at the end of term.
