For how long should a force of 50N act on a body of 10kg so that it aguires a velocity of 100m/s?

Solution -

Given -
Force (F) =  50N
Mass (M) =  10kg
Initial velocity (u) = 0
Final velocity (v)  = 100 m/s


Since
F = m*a
F = (v-u/t) * m

Substituting Values in the above Equation

50N = (100-0/t) * 10kg

50N = 10 * 100/t 

t = 1000 / 50

t = 20 seconds

Answer ) It will take 20 seconds to acquire velocity of 100 m/s
