Lok Sabha is body of representatives of the people and each members are elected directly in every five years.

Minimum qualifying age for the membership of the Lok Sabha is 25 years. Rajya Sabha members are MPs nominated by the political parties.

The MPs are elected by the state MLAs and they have 5 years time period. Members of the rajya sabha will be elected by the indirect election by representative MLAs of the state.
