u = 150m/s
v = 300m/s
m = 8kg
F = 400N


From F = ma
400 = 8a
a = 400/8 = 50m/s²


And a = v-u / t
⇒ 50 = 300 - 150 / t = 3sec

So the time taken is 3 seconds
