Information about JEE mains exam:
First of all JEE mains or Joint Entrance Exam is all India level exam for the students interested in pursing Engineering, which was previously conducted by CBSE, but now it will be conducted by NTA.
Which syllabus is important?
In JEE mains, every year more than 10 lakhs students appear. The competition is rapidly increasing among the aspirants. It can be seen in results of 2019 JEE mains results.
The syllabus of classes XI and XII is most important for JEE mains. You need regular practice in Mathematics and Physics and thorough revision for Chemistry. Do not leave any stone unturned. Go through every chapter and clear your each and every concepts at the same time. Do not leave revision chapters of class XI when you reach in class XII.
Purchase solved question papers of last 40 years and try them by yourself and be sure you try them first without having a look on their solutions.

• H.C Verma Volume I and II. It's the best book to understand things in better way and also clear your concepts.
• Cengage Series . Best books if you're doing self-studies.
• D.C Pandey. It has good numerical bestowed on.
• Resnick Halliday Krane. It has some hard numericals than H.C verma. It will develop in you the confidence to solve numericals.
• NCERT Books.
2) Mathematics:
• R.D Sharma Mathematics. It has good strength of questions.
• Arihant Series. Well- explained examples are given to clear your concepts.
• Cengage Series.
• You can try foreign writers after trying these.
3) Chemistry:
• NCERT. These are must books one should have read. These are most important for theory and clearing your basic concepts.
• Wiley's Solomons, Fryhle & Snyder Organic Chemistry
• Wiley's J.D. Lee Concise Inorganic Chemistry
• You can try for K.S verma.
