Given statements :-

  • For less than 50 paise Rena can buy 5 carrot and then banana cakes.

  • Or for less than 50 paise Reena can buy 5 banana cakes and 25 carrots

Solution :-

→ Let's suppose Banana as b and carrot as c .

Inequalities :-

1st case

→ 5c + 10b > 50

→ c + 2b > 10 ( taking 5 as common )

→ If c is equal to zero

c = 0

2b = 10

b = 5

→ If b is equal to zero

b = 0

c = 10

2nd case

→ 25c + 5 b > 50

→ 5c + b > 10 ( taking 5 as common )

→ If c is zero then ,

c = 0

b = 10

→ If b is equal to zero

b = 0

5c = 10

c = 2

Now we have 2 inequality we have just got it on the graph.
