Given, power of the electric bulb,

P = 100 W = ( 100 / 1000 ) kW

=0.1kW ;

time for which bulb is used, t=5h

As P = W/t

or W=Pt

or W = 0.1kW × 5h

=0.5kWh

For 5 hrs = 0.5kWh

So, for 1 hr = 0.1 kWh

For 30 days

= 0.1× 30×24

= 0.1 × 720

= 72 kWh
