For making cake baking powder is taken. If at home your mother u uses baking soda instead of baking powder in cake. (
a. how will it affect the taste of the cake and why ? (
b.how can baking soda be converted into baking powder ? (
c. What is the role of tartaric acid added to baking soda?

a)As the cake will become very bad in taste because the mixture is very non porous and hence the baking soda is above the mixture and taste of the cake is changed.

b)Baking soda can be changed into baking powder by adding some substances and the evaporating the solution and then breaking the solution into finner particles.

c)The role is to make the mixture denser and non porous.
