For me Mahatma Gandhi was a great soul whose philosophy and ideology influenced the world considerably. He practiced non-violence and tried to resist all opposition spiritually. He believed in overcoming fear, dependence on others through self-reliance and self- industry. He successfully resisted the British injustice, aggression, oppression using his non-violence and satayagreh. Ultimately he succeeded in winning Independence from the British.
