the values of magnetic quantum number depends on "l " values . for "l" there will be (2l+1) values. so if n=3 there may be 3 values for l. i.e. l=0, l=1, l=2.

if l=0 . there will be only one value for ml i.e 0.

if l=1 . there will be three values for ml

i.e. -1, 0, +1

if l=2, there will be five values for ml

i.e. -2,-1,0,+1,+2
