Pg 221( electricity exercise),
Questions 2 and 3 can have 2 answers each,because u get diff values for P=I^2R and P=V^2/R.
Can both be considered correct?

This is a really good question because this is often misunderstood by a lot of students.
The formula V^2/R has to be used when the resistors are connected in parallel combination and the I^2R formula should be used when resistors are connected in series combination.

In parallel P=V^2\R
And in series P=I^2*R
