velocity in x dir,
dx/dt = 5
at t=0, velocity is 5 m/s
velocity in y dir ,
dy/dt = 12- 10t
at, t=0, velocity is 12 m/s

hence,
resultant velocity = √(5^2 + 12^2) = 13m/s
