Here's your answer

For rational number x and y the number that always lie between x and y will be

 \frac{x + y}{2}

for example, to find rational numbers between 10 and 11 we have to use the formula

 \frac{x + y}{?2}

OK, so

 \frac{10 + 11}{2}

 \frac{21}{2}

so we can find as many rational numbers we want using this formula
