As we know the formula for arranging the electrons in the electronic configuration.

=> 2n² .

And the names of the cells are K, L, M, N and so on .

So ,

In K = 2n² = 2(1)² = 2

In L = 2n² = 2(2)² = 8

In M = 2n² = 2(3)² = 18

In N = 2n² = 2(4)² = 32

In 0 = 2n² = 2(5)² = 50

So the electronic configuration of the element Having atomic number 100, is = 2,8,18,32,40 .

And the valency = 10 .

Valency = Number of Valence electrons in an element.

Adi3097: 2,8,18,32,40 only has 6 numbers. But Fm which has atomic number 100 comes in 7th row .

AS WE KNOW THE FORMULA OF ARRANGING ELECTRON IS 2N^2 SO

1 ORBIT =2*1^2=2*1=2

2 ORBIT=2*2^2=2*4=8

3 ORBIT=2*3^2=2*9=18

4 ORBIT=2*4^2=2*16=32

5 ORBIT=2*5^2=2*25=50

SO ELECTRONIC CONFIGURATION IS-2,8,18,32,40
