the meaning is as follows:

• They don’t freeze your bank account but actually the freeze is for UPI Transactions. so you will not be able to perform upi transactions

• scammers are known to target people with no UPI account. so first they first convince you to open a UPI Account and force you to send them money in a clever manner. so when new UPI account is made, only one Transaction amounting to maximum INR5000/- is allowed so that fraud risks can be reduced.

• Duration of the freeze can either be 12 or 24 hrs ,  depending on your bank.
