1) total resistance = resistance in parallel + resistance in series
r. in parallel = 1 /(1/30+ 1/60) =20
r. in series = 20
therefore total r. = 40 ohm
2)V=IR (ohm's law)
10=I×40
I is current = 0.25 ampere
3) since 20 ohm resistor is in series
so same current will flow through it that is 0.25 ampere
