Given:

Capacitance (C) = 4μF

Charge on 4μF capacitor (q) =?

Solution:

Voltage (V) =1 V

Resistance (R) = 10 Ω

To calculate current flowing through 4μF capacitor:

V = IR

I = 1/10  = 0.1 A

Potential difference (Vab) across 4μF capacitor is,

Vab = I × R

Vab = 0.1 × 10Ω

Vab = 10 V

Then,

Charge on 4μF capacitor is given as,

q = C×Vab

q = 4μF×10V

q = 40μC

Therefore, the charge on 4μF capacitor is 40μC.
