For the diagram (up), calculate the area of:
a) the semicircle,
b) the trapezium,
c) the whole shape.​

a) Area of semicircle= pie/2 ×r² = 3.14/2 × 25 = 39.26 cm²

b) Area of trapezium = 1/2 ×(sum of parallel sides) × height

= 1/2(10+7)×4 = 34 cm²

c) Area of parallelogram= Base×height = 4×7 = 28cm²

therefore total area = 39.26 + 34 + 28 cm² = 101.26 cm²
