Dear Diary

Today, for the first time I am happy about getting scolded! You know how it always is- first my father scolds me for doing something wrong, then I get upset and go to the park and start running. Today too, I was yelled at, and I went to the park to run. Running relaxes me, tires me and finally calms me down. What I did not know was that Mr. Ram Narayan, the famous Olympian, was observing me all that while. He saw some promise in me, because he offered to be my coach. However, to earn his coaching, I need to win the Children’s Day race. I am definitely going to try my best. After all, how many people get to meet an Olympian, leave aside being trained by one! I cannot wait to begin practising for the race.
