H2 + Cl2 →  2 HCl

1 V  1 V  2 V

 Now 71g HCl is obtained from = 22.4 L of Cl2

 1g HCl is obtained from  =22.4/71

 3.65g  HCl is obtained from =  22.4 × 3.65 /71

 =  1.15 L  of Cl2  

 Hence 1.15 L  of Cl2 and H2 are used for formation of HCl
