The badges are in the shape of equalateral triangle of side 6cm and in a triangle the circle is inscribed the circle is of √2cm radius

Area of equalateral triangle:1/2 a²

1/2(6)²=1/2(36)=18cm

Area of circle= πr²

3.14(√2)²=3.14(2)=6.28cm

Area of shaded region=Area of equalateral triangle-Area of circle

18cm-6.28cm

11.72cm

so the shaded region is 11.72cm
