3x-5y-15=0

3x-5y =0+15

3x = 15÷5y

3x = 3y

x =3y÷3

x= y

now ,

x =...1..... 2 ....-2..... .3

y =...1 ......2 .....-2 .....3

When the graph intersects x axis y = 0

3x-5(0)=15

x=5

When the graph interests y axis x=0

3(0)-5y=15

y=-3

Area of the graph =1/2 x 5 x 3=7.5
