For the NSS volunteer , Which activity is compulsory for any award ?

NSS volunteer must take part in special camping programs to be eligible for an award.

State level awards are given by the concerned State Governments.

Volunteers can also get Indira Gandhi NSS award at the National Level.

Volunteers get international recognition in form of SAARC Youth award at SAARC level.

The activities are- a) before taking any action first have to follow the village. Every persons, every place need to watch. b) have to identify the problems. Problems of every persons- like farmer's problem, student, teacher or any villagers. Need to know where the problem has been started. c) every projects should be well maintained. Because it's all about villagers's trust. How can be more and more development for the village a NSS person has to watch. d) the program officer should check every decision again and again.
