p(x) = x^3 - 2x^2 + x +4

p(1) = 1^3 - 2(1)^2 + 1 + 4

= 1 - 2 + 5

= 6 - 2

= 4

so, p(1) = 4

similarly you can putt x as -2 and take out the value
