In the above reaction number of moles at equilibrium of
N2 = (1-a)
O2 = (1-a) and
NO = 2a
where a is the degree of dissociation
So equilibrium constant(k)= (2a)2/(1-a)2
As a<<1 so
k=4a2
a2 = k/4 =2/4 as k=2
a=root5
So degree of dissociation is root5..
