Hii friend,

# Answer- Media C 40° Refraction angle

# Explanation-

Snell's law gives relationship between refractive index, angle of incidence and angle of refraction.

µ = sin i / sin r

For same angle of incidence, as angle of refraction increases sin r increse which will further reduce refractive index.

Relationship between refractive index and velocity given by,

v=c/µ

Thus, lower the refractive index, higher the velocity of light through medium.

Ultimately higher angle of incidence implies higher speed of light.

From media a,b and c, media c have highest angle of refraction.

Thus from given options media c will carry light fastest.

From Snell’s law

n = sin i /sin r = c/v

Since c and sin i are constant therefore sin r is directly proportional to v

Therefore velocity of light is maximum in medium C.
