for the same angle of incidence in media A,B and C , the angles of refraction are 20°,30° and 40°. in which medium will the velocity of light be maximum ? give reason in support of your answer ( someone please give me the answer to the reason portion )

From Snell's law

n =  \frac{sini}{sinr}  =  \frac{c}{v}

Since c and sini are constant therefore

sinr \:  \alpha  \: v

Therefore velocity of light is the maximum in medium C.

hope it helps

DamanPrasad: i gave the explaination in the answer itself
DamanPrasad: sini/sinr= c/v
kaustavidps: so..that's enough ?
kaustavidps: thank-you so much then
DamanPrasad: yes
DamanPrasad: sinr and v gets cancelled
DamanPrasad: so the angle which is greater will be the answer
DamanPrasad: your welcome
DamanPrasad: mark me as brainliest
DamanPrasad: hello please mark it

in medium C velocity will be maximum

Reason- because in medium C angle  of refraction is maximum i.e. 40 degrees

kaustavidps: thank-you sooooo much
