In triangle ABC,

AB=15

AC=7

BC=BASE=20

BD=1/2×BC

=1/2×20

=10CM

IN TRIANGLE ADB,

BY PYTHAGORAS THEOREM,

AD^2+BD^2=AB^2

AD^2=AB^2 BD^2

=15^2 10^2

=225 100

=125

BY TAKING SQUARE ROOT ,

AD = 5root5......
